2,500 back 'Drop the Drop Off Charge' campaign

Over 2,500 people have now backed the local Liberal Democrats' 'Drop the Drop Off Charge Campaign' calling on Aberdeen International Airport's management to drop the £2 charge they have imposed on drivers dropping people off at the airport.

Campaign organiser Ian Yuill commented "Support for our campaign has been overwhelming. It is being backed by people from across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire - and beyond. Every day more people back the campaign."

Ian Yuill continued "It is very clear that thousands of people across the North East have been outraged by Aberdeen Airport's imposition of this toll on drivers."
